Champions League

Man Utd vs. Olympiakos (kick-off @ 7.45). United’s excellent continental form hasn’t exactly been remedial for their woeful domestic season in progress. Their opponents this evening are a whopping 20 points clear atop the Greek league though, and will provide stiff competition.
Europa League
Thursday @ 7.30pm, 3e
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Dnipro (kick-off @ 8.05). Spurs will want to right the wrongs of a loss to Norwich on Sunday with PAOK Salonika or Benfica waiting in the wings for the winners. Highlights of Swansea vs. Napoli follow.
The Late Late Show Eurosong 2014 Special
Friday @ 9.35pm, RTÉ One
Who will represent us at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in May. It’s a Late Late special with Eoghan Quigg, Patricia Roe, Can-linn, Andrew McMann and Laura O’Neill all singing for a place in Denmark.
Pro 12 Rugby
Saturday @ 6.15pm, RTÉ Two
Scarlets vs. Munster (kick-off @ 6.30). Munster ascended to the top of the pile last weekend after a comfortable win over Ospreys. They travel to Wales again this weekend with their tails up, looking to continue in their rich vein of form.
Premier League Basketball
Sunday @3.30pm, Aertv SportsLive
UCC Demons vs. Killester. A mouth-watering tie in the Men’s Premier League as two top sides go toe-to-toe in the Mardyke. The Cork and Dublin outfits square off in what will likely be the decisive game of the League season.
The Voice of Ireland
The judges get some help this week to help them decide who to take through to the live shows. Guest appearances from Fiachna O’Braonáin, Sarah Harding, Courtney Rumbold and Matt Cardle.
FAI Football Awards
Sunday @ 8.30pm, RTÉ Two
It may have been a collectively disappointing 12 months for an Irish international side having not qualified for Brazil but Robbie Keane, David Forde and Seamus Coleman will battle it out for the Senior International Player of the Year Award.
Meteor Choice Music Prize
Highlights from Thursday’s music awards for the best Irish releases in 2013. Lisa O’Neill, Little Green Cars, Girls Names and Villagers are amongst the Top 10 shortlisted.
The League Cup Show
Sunday @ 11.30pm, BBC TWO
The talk of a historic ‘quadruple’ for Man City has lessened since the defeat to Barcelona, but Pellegrini’s side will want to land the first domestic silverware of the season. Sunderland, however, have knocked out Chelsea and Man United to get to this stage.
